By accessing or using imgavio ("the Service") at imgavio.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of imgavio. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

imgavio is a free online platform that provides browser-based image processing tools including image compression, format conversion, resizing, editing, AI-powered background removal, and developer utilities. All 35+ tools are provided free of charge with no account creation required.

All image processing occurs locally in your browser using WebAssembly technology. Your image files are never uploaded to or stored on imgavio's servers.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for personal, educational, and commercial purposes, including:

• Compressing, converting, and editing images for any lawful purpose
• Using processed images in commercial work, marketing materials, and publications
• Batch processing images for websites, e-commerce stores, and applications
• Incorporating tool output into commercial products without attribution to imgavio
• Using imgavio as part of your professional workflow

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process, generate, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, or obscene
• Process images of child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits minors
• Create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery
• Conduct automated scraping, crawling, or systematic extraction of Service content
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, overburden, or impair our infrastructure

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any user who violates these prohibitions.

5. Intellectual Property

Your images and content

The images you process using imgavio tools are and remain entirely your property. You retain all rights to your original input images and to the processed outputs. imgavio claims no rights whatsoever over your content.

Output content

Images processed or converted by imgavio tools are provided to you royalty-free and without restriction. You may use tool outputs for any lawful purpose — personal, creative, or commercial — without credit to imgavio.

imgavio platform

The imgavio website, codebase, brand, design, and original content (including blog articles) are the property of imgavio and are protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from imgavio platform content without explicit written permission.

6. Privacy and Data

imgavio processes all images locally in your browser. Your image files are never transmitted to any server. We collect only minimal analytics data as described in our Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Third-Party Services

imgavio uses Cloudflare for CDN delivery, security, and analytics, and Google Fonts for typography. These services may process limited technical data as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

As-is service

imgavio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

No liability for outputs

We are not responsible for how you use images processed by our tools. You assume full responsibility for any content you create or share using the Service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, imgavio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruption, modification, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
