imgavio ("we", "us", "our") operates imgavio.com, a free platform of browser-based image processing tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

The core principle underlying everything we do: your images never leave your device. This is not a policy choice — it is a fundamental architectural decision. imgavio has no infrastructure capable of receiving image uploads.

2. Your Images — What Happens to Them

When you use any imgavio tool to compress, convert, resize, or edit an image:

• Your image file is read by your browser from your local device
• All processing (compression, conversion, resizing, AI inference) happens in your browser using WebAssembly
• The processed image is saved to your device when you click Download
• At no point does your image file travel over the internet to any server

This means it is technically impossible for imgavio to see, access, log, or store any image you process. Even our AI tools (background removal, upscaling) download the AI model to your browser once and run inference locally — your images do not leave your device even for AI processing.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide

imgavio requires no account creation and no registration. We collect no name, email, payment information, or personal profile data under normal use. If you contact us, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message) solely to respond to your inquiry.

Automatically collected information

Like all websites, our servers and analytics tools automatically receive:

• IP address — used for security and geographic analytics at country level only
• Browser and device type — used for compatibility monitoring
• Pages visited and referring URL — used to understand which tools are most useful
• Date and time of visit — used for traffic analysis

We do not collect information about what images you process, their file names, their content, or any image-related data.

4. Analytics

imgavio uses Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not build advertising profiles. The data we see is aggregated: total page views, top pages, traffic sources, and geographic distribution at country level only.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioral tracking tools that build individual user profiles.

5. Cookies

imgavio uses no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. The only cookies that may be set are:

• Cloudflare security cookies — set by our CDN provider for bot detection and security. These contain no personal information and expire at the end of your session.

We use no cookies for analytics, preferences, or any purpose beyond basic site security. No cookie consent banner is required because we use no non-essential cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

Cloudflare

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts (Plus Jakarta Sans) loaded from Google's servers. When your browser loads our site, it makes a request to Google's servers to download the font file. Google Privacy Policy →

We do not use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, or any advertising networks.

7. GDPR — Your Rights (EEA and UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the following rights under GDPR:

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

imgavio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Our services are general-purpose image tools not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of imgavio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

The core privacy guarantee — images never leave your device — is fundamental to imgavio's architecture and will not change.
